  • Impromptu speeches – everyone will participate!
    • Topic – Tell us about yourself. What’s your name? Where are you from/hometown? Where are you in school (first year, sophomore, junior, senior)? What is your major field of study (explain it to the class if it is not obvious)
  • Demonstrate Achieve/LaunchPad access/activities
    • 18 total – 16 required
    • Note various due dates of LearningCurve assessments
      • February 1 – Chapters 1 and 2 – practice assessments are optional and NOT graded but get 10 extra credit points for completing them!
      • February 15 – Chapters 12, 13, 14
      • March 22 – Chapters 3, 4, 15, 16
      • April 12 – Chapters 5, 6, 9, 10, 11
      • April 26 – Chapters 7, 8, 17, 19
  • Choose 2 dates on Scholar update signup sheet by Monday 1/26!
  • Add deadline – January 20
  • Drop deadline for Spring 2025 is February 2
  • Religious Observances requests are also due by February 2 – enter in MySlice (Student Services/Enrollment/My Religious Observances/Add a notification)

    3. Return to CG Scholar Help page and watch video 6
      1. Keep this video handy when completing activities for Week 1
    4. Review Scholar Week 1 update
      1. Be sure to complete all activities including creating your Week 1 update
