    • Syllogism:
      • Martin Luther King was shot and killed in 1968.
      • The murder of a leader or famous person is called an assassination.
      • King was assassinated.
    • Touliman method for argumentation – Analyze claim “Democrats are for the working man.”
      • Evidence: Policies of Democratic administrations beginning with FDR benefitted laborers
      • Reasoning: Democrats should be kept in power because they care about the everyday worker
